Repository Policy

Multiverse Journal (MVJ) is an Open Access journal, and authors are permitted to make their articles publicly available under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. Authors may share, distribute, and archive their articles in any repository or platform without any embargo, from submission to post-publication.

Re-use Guidelines for Open Access Content

When uploading, sharing, or repurposing Open Access content, MVJ must be clearly identified as the original source of publication. Proper citation and bibliographic details must be included. Authors should also deposit the DOI or URL of the Version of Record in any repository.

Repository Policy for Submitted, Accepted, and Published Versions

1. Submitted Version (Preprint)
The submitted version (before peer review) may be shared freely on preprint servers or repositories. At this stage, authors do not need to mention MVJ as the source of submission.

2. Accepted Version (Post-Print)
After peer review and acceptance, authors may deposit the accepted version in institutional or subject-specific repositories. The journal must be clearly identified as the source of acceptance, and proper citation information must be included.

3. Published Version (Version of Record)
Upon publication, authors may archive and share the final published PDF on personal websites, institutional repositories, public repositories, and academic platforms in accordance with the CC BY 4.0 license. Authors must include proper attribution and the article’s DOI.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain the copyright of their work while granting MVJ the right of first publication. All published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which allows others to share and adapt the work with appropriate acknowledgment of authorship and the journal’s original publication.

Authors may also engage in separate, non-exclusive agreements for further distribution of their published work (e.g., inclusion in a book or another journal), provided that the original publication in MVJ is properly credited.
